APRIL 1983 – On his first trip abroad – to Auckland, New Zealand – with his mother Diana, Princess of Wales.

JUNE 16 1990 – He took part in a prize-giving ceremony, following a polo match in Windsor.

SEPTEMBER 1991 – Leaving the Wetherby School with his mother.

SEPTEMBER 7 1995- On his first day at Eton School, near Windsor.

JUNE 16 2000 – He was named an Eton prefect, which allowed him to wear a waistcoat of his choice – a Union Jack design here.

SEPTEMBER 23 2001 – He was greeted by crowds of wellwishers for his first day at St Andrews University, where he started an art history degree.

MARCH 29 2002 – A photo call with his father and brother, during a family skiing trip to Klosters.

MARCH 30 2004 – On a skiing holiday in Klosters, Switzerland – one of the first time images of him with Catherine Middleton appeared in the press.

APRIL 29 2011 – The newly-titled Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Royal Airforce flypast and to seal their marriage with a kiss.

JUNE 18 2012 – At the Service for the Order of the Garter, held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, with Catherine.
