The city of Venice is already abuzz with preparations of the 13th International Architecture Biennal, that starts already tomorrow. From 29th to November 25, the city will assist to the best of the architecture in the Common Ground.
Directed by David Chipperfield, the Common Ground will be the stage of this 13th International Architecture Exhibition. Curiously, it will be showcased a new mural using HI-MACS, developed by 3deluxe, which will be held from 29 August to 25 November.
In the Giardini Arsenal, Common Ground will form a unique exhibition since David Chipperfield will present 69 projects by architects, photographers, artists, critics and scholars.
As you may expect, the exhibition will not restrict itself to the Giardini: it will be accompanied – as usual – in the Arsenal at Venice’s historic center. Among the 55 nations that will be represented, four will be showcasing for the first time: Angola, Republic of Kosovo, Kuwait and Peru.
Alejandro Aravena, Alberto Campo Baeza, Jean Nouvel, Markl’ Architect and Herzog & de Meuren are between the most renowned architects that will showcase in this prestigious biennal.
Awards cerimony and opening will occur already tomorrow.
