When we look for vintage lighting, it is almost impossible to not stumble in Stacking Lamp, created by Will Mc Donald, a talented young industrial designer from Ottawa, Ontario.

The modern floor lamp was shown at the 2013 Interior Design Show in Toronto. It can be customized by choosing any combination of 4 components to stack over the wooden dowel- lampshade, coat hook, or spacer.

Its functionality is quite impressing: rearrange the components to conform to your space. The shades can be stacked facing down for reading/ task lighting or up for ambient lighting. Hooks are useful for bags, sweaters, scarves, etc. The components are steel constructed, and are available in the colours shown.
