INSIDE is the global festival and awards programme that celebrates the very best in interior design and architecture. Held in Singapore on 1 – 3 October 2014 alongside World Architecture Festival, INSIDE is your opportunity to be inspired by the latest and greatest in global interiors.
INSIDE is a feast of creativity and inspiration exclusively for the interiors design community including designers, architects, clients and press. INSIDE is the only global awards event where designers present their work live to an expert panel of judges – including Fabio Novembre, Matteo Thun, Jaya Ibrahim, Chris Lee, Joyce Wang and Voon Wong – and an audience of peers, clients and press.
“An old factory warehouse was stripped off its external walls to allow the insides to be infused with natural light and create a view of the large trees along the road from its internal spaces that were transformed to a restaurant and a nightclub. The upper level with a better view, houses a restaurant space and the lower level opening into an outdoor patio is a nightclub.”
Established in 1949, the Riviera Bar was one of the main meeting points of art, student and political activists of the city of São Paulo classes, especially during the 60s and 70s.

Central Writers’House (CDL) and its restaurant has a remarkable history. Many of writers, politicians and actors been here.
Mott 32 is named after 32 Mott Street in New York. 32 Mott Street was NYC’s first Chinese convenience store, which opened in 1851, and was the nucleus for what is now a vibrant Chinatown in one of the most dynamic cities in the World.
Originally opened in 1991 in the heart of Covent Garden, Christopher’s has established itself as one of London’s prime American restaurants. Comprising of three newly refurbished spaces (re-opened in May 2013) that recall the heady-glamour of the Modern American era, Christopher’s brings you a Martini Bar on the ground floor, an elegant Dining Room on the first floor and a secluded Club Room on the lower ground floor for private events.
Manhattan is a grand hotel bar inspired by the 19th century’s Golden Age of cocktails and fine drinking. Delivering on its name with a glamorous yet modern space reminiscent of old New York, craft bartending meets artisanal spirits to pay homage to classic and forgotten cocktails that leap from the pages of history.
Like the preceding Houses, Seoul House has been inspired by the ‘whisky conversation’ theme and culturally curated at a local level; every room, display and interaction sets out to engage sophisticated Korean consumers and tell the story behind Johnnie Walker.
Unique art installations play a key role in bringing Seoul House’s immersive design to life. LOVE commissioned a number of globally renowned Korean artists and digital studios to produce imaginative pieces, as well as high definition video art for the experiential space.
