First of all, industrial wasn’t even a style, it was a fact of workaday life. However, everyone started to appreciate the visual appeal of industrial decor, and today this is one of our favorite styles ever. Inspired by a vintage menu dating back to 15th December 1900, Brasserie Champeaux was conceived by Alain Ducasse – renowned French chef boasting 19 Michelin stars – and Olivier Maurey – creator of the restaurant Mini Palais and other Parisian coveted gathering places. An impressive feature in the restaurant is the striking set of custom-made tubular, glass and copper light fixtures hanging from the ceiling just below the piping ducts.
This dazzlingindustrial style restaurant in Copenhagen is called 108. The restaurant is a culinary spin-off of Redzepi’s acclaimed NOMA, which has dominated the global restaurant rankings for many years. However, 108 surprises almost exactly as much as is needed to avoid disrupting the comfort that its lineage inspires.
