Meet the A and the S behind the Design Magic!
a.strid Kölsche
Astrid is a professional and dedicated architect that received her diploma at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany.
She has plenty of experience in the field, for example, she worked for the acclaimed architecture office in Cologne, named Busmann & Haberer. She also worked for Klein-Haller, Office for Interior Architecture and Design in Mönchengladbach, Germany, “with main focus on design of hotels and gastronomy, where she was deputy project manager for Dorint Sofitel Kongresshotel Hamburg 5 stars, 241 rooms, 3500 m² public area and Restaurant Viehauser Vin, Hamburg”. last, but definitely, not least, she was the project manager for the 5 star hotel in Cologne, Intercontinental. 
s.ilke Knodel
Silke is an interior architect, she was graduated, in fact, with honors in interior architecture at the University of Applied Sciences, such as Astrid.
Again like Astrid, she has a CV with a lot of experience in the field: she started working, when she still was studying. Later, she worked for Klein-Haller, office for Interior Architecture and Design in Mönchengladbach, Germany with main focus on design of hotels and gastronomy.
And together they decided to create this design company to amaze everything single client when they see the result!
The Projects
This is a current project, a private house, located in Berlin with a large floor space. The design is absolutely remarkable, but let us have a sneak peek of the inside!
The kitchen is a work of art for itself. The dark colors and the minimalistic design give this kitchen a sophisticated, yet modern look.
Here, you are able to see a little bit more of this luxurious kitchen décor. The metal island blends very good as well. However, wait until you see the wall with more detail! Their projects are thought detail by detail, creating something unique, like nothing done before.
This wall is called Patagonia, and it is a natural work of art. The quartzite is from Brazil and it looks like it was drawn by hand. Nowadays, arts and crafts are more appreciated, and they are usually associated with luxury design, so we think that this was a wise choice!
This is another beautiful project that the design company had in hands. Here you can see a beautiful white wall with golden elements, and a geometric patterned rug, that helps creating a modern hall décor. This is a very important part of the house, because it is the first thing that we see when we enter, and … aren’t you curious to see more of the house, after seeing this? Come with us!
We went upstairs to be dazzled by this modern and rustic bedroom décor. The mix of different textures, with the different shades of brown and bege are a top-notch choice to get a comfy and sophisticated room.
The dining room has also different shades of brown, and the wood is the main material chosen. As you can see, it is the same material, but there are many ways and different colors to combine it. The green armchairs suit perfectly in this nature inspired dining room décor.
