Boston Design Week 2019 starts today, and you don’t want to miss a thing!
If you’re a design lover or professional, we’re sure that Boston is the right place for you! The city will be the stage for a 12-day event – Boston Design Week. The main goal is to seek public “appreciation of all aspects of design, foster recognition of the vital role design plays in our lives”. BDW is now considered an official member of the World Design Weeks. From the 27th of March to the 7th of April, Boston will be the city stage of one of the most important design events: Boston Design Week. The 6th edition has several new specials that you cannot miss, however today we’ll tell you everything you should know about it!

The main goal is to present different perspectives of design and how it can be a tool to solve the world’s top issues. Besides that, the event will bring a new audience to a “a wide array of design industries and organisations”.
Encourage the public to invest and to participate more on all the aspects of design is one of the biggest challenges.

Save the Date! On the 5th of April, the Boston Design Week Design Awards will be announced!
The Boston Design Week Lifetime Achievement Award is one of the awards and it will recognize the person that has exceed on the design field an that his/her work has spanned both the 20th and 21st centuries.
Other awards will be the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award ,presented to: Roger Thomas, Executive Vice President of Design, Wynn Design and Development, and Principal, The Roger Thomas Collection, which current Project is Encore Boston Harbor. The Mentor of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and The Social Impact Award will also be presented. Don’t miss the change to buy the ticket and know first hand the winners!
