What do you love the most about what your work?
The feeling of emptiness of space at the beginning of work and the feeling of fullness and life is at the end.

What was the most challenging time in your career, and how did you overcome it?
Perhaps the very beginning of a career was difficult. No experience, no self-confidence, little work. But each even small result bore fruit and so the potential accumulated. Then there were no crisis moments.

Have you achieved everything you want in life? – What dreams are you still lingering on to?
I can enjoy life at the moment – here and now. Therefore, I appreciate all the achievements that I have. I manage to work with completely different projects as an architect and as a designer. I do not feel boundaries in my profession. I can create a design project for a huge premium-class business centre, or a pavilion for a city park, or a restaurant, but also a design for a country house or apartment, even the smallest one. My goal today is to expand the geography of my activities, to conduct projects not only in different cities of Russia but also abroad.

Are you working on anything new at the moment? What’s the inspiration behind what you working on at the moment?
Today I am developing a design project for the Krasny Yar rugby club, as well as private interiors – mostly apartments.

What would you say is the trend at the moment in the design world – creatively speaking?
Trends in interior design today give a limitless choice of solutions. Today is a good time for the designer. The emotional component has become important in the interior when furniture becomes not just furniture, but also a source of emotions, aesthetic impressions. It should not be boring, it should have an interesting shape, texture, accents.
