Get inside: Mandy Moore Reveals Us her Mid-Century House!
Come in and have a look with us how Mandy Moore transformed the 70 years old house into her dreamy mid-century modern home.
After almost a year of looking for the perfect house and another one of renovation, the American actress, songwriter, and singer is finally settled in herdream house in Pasadena where she can start her new life with her fiancé Taylor Goldsmith.
“We fell in love with the views, the pool, the yard, basically the whole energy of the place,”Mandy Moore admits. “This house signifies the next chapter of my life—as an adult, a woman, and a performer. I was able to pour all of who I am into making this place.”
The simple and light color palette of Moore’s family room brings a harmonious and softlook into the house. It’s the perfect combination of feminine and masculine, vintage and contemporary. Exactly what Samuel’s dream decor was.
According to Mandy Moore, one of the best things about this house are the giant sliders. Those create an open space and allow the house to absorb as much daylight as possible. Mandy admits that it never loses on her how lucky she is to experience that every day.
This master bathroom is exactly what dreams are made off. A simple look with an eye-catching suspension and a view of the mountain offers you a total peace feeling and gets you out of the daily routine. All we can say is…Can it gets any more irrealistic?
“It still amazes me. We saw the potential of this house and brought it back to life. It’s hard to convey the excitement of working out every detail, from picking slabs at the stone yard to figuring out how many burners we wanted for the stove,” Mandy Moore explains. “Once you realize that you can actually build your true dream house, it’s hard to go back to anything else.”
This project was worth all the energy and effort Mandy Moore and her team put in – architect Emily Farnham, interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel, and Terremoto landscape designers.
