2020 has officially been here for a couple of months now, so let’s take a look into the interior trends of the big boot-shaped country: Italy. Let’s take a first look into the 2021 Italian Interior Trends by taking a deeper look into the time it is now ‘reflecting’ on the ’20s. The ’20s are mainly known for as the jazz age or the roaring twenties. It was after the WWI so everything was filled with happiness, colours and everyone was enjoying the post-war time full of peace. That’s what you can see on the left side of this picture. On the right side, you see the interior trend from today that got inspired by it.
What we clearly see in the 2021 Italian Interior Trends is that there’s a lot of light in the room. The rooms are very mid-century styled, even though they are more based on the fundamentals of the interiors of the ’20s. You can see cohesion between the lamp used on the right side of the picture down below. It looks has the same looks as the Hanna pendant lamp, the only difference is that the Hanna pendant isn’t made of glass but from better quality and more luxurious materials.
As the 2021 Italian Interior Trends are also influenced by the mid-century style, you see that an Interior Trend never coms from only one and the same inspiration. It’s a mixture of different styles and for the 2021 Italian Interior Trends, we see clearly the ’20s with a touch of mid-century. In the next example, you’ll see that again, however, now you should look deeper at the details. As you can see, there are a lot of paintings on the right side (also above) and there are also some graphical touches (such as the G down below). The letter below and the bright, Pantone yellow, colour of the table lamp make it clear that both elements are connected. Just like the graphic G lamp. Interior Trends never come alone, but there is always a combination of multiple styles that creates the ultimate trend.
As you can see, the 2021 Italian Interior Trends aren’t just the 1920s all over again. The nice elements of the of that time are introduced in the 21st century with a mid-century touch and feel. The combination of tactile textures and organic materials is what brings both times (and trends) even closer together. That’s what iSaloni accentuates even further, the fact that trends can be implemented by a brand in her own way. Because iSaloni brings over 100 brands together in Milan to show what and how each and every brand looks towards these interior trends.
So, the 2021 Italian Interior Trends are going to be something fantastic to keep an eye on. No better way of getting closer to the interior trends than looking at what we would showcase at iSaloni, in Milan. So, be sure to continue on following the iSaloni news and articles on our blog.
