Everything You Need To Know About the Workspaces Of The Future 💼 An Award-Winning Project of WeWork Prague!
WeWork Prague won CBRE Art of Space Award for the best co-working office space, and Inspirations Blog is here to tell you everything about this important recognition, where we’ll be able to reflect about the workspaces of the future – how will they be?
“Whether you need to build a headquarters in New York, expand into the London market, or secure coworking space in Tokyo, we have office spaces to rent worldwide”, says WeWork.
Every year, CBRE presents the trends of the commercial and corporate field, and they have just released the list of winners for best industrial and workplaces. A team of 10 judges, led by the renowned architect Eva Jiřičná, selected WeWork Prague as one of the big winners of Art of Space Award for the best co-working office space!
📍 Prague, Czech Republic
This workplace received the recognition in the category of Coworking and Flexible Office, and it really embraces what the workspaces of the future have to be. Located in the center of Prague, it is possible to rent the entire office or only a desk or an armchair. One of the most important rules of the workspaces of the future is that there is no rule, no limit.
THE WORKSPACE OF THE FUTURE
“It is gratifying to see the growing interest of companies in creating a truly high quality and inspiring environment (…) In our opinion, this will not change after the coronavirus crisis, it will only show in which direction the design and functionality of commercial properties will lead and meet the new needs and requirements of its users “, predicts Clare Sheils, CEO of CBRE.
“The demand for a healthy indoor environment will remain high. Air quality, often neglected, will be exposed. We believe that the lessons learned from the coronavirus pandemic will lead to the dissemination of a healthy indoor environment in all sectors of the commercial sector,” says Simona Kalvoda.
“I am convinced that once the immediate problems and restrictions have disappeared, the current situation will lead to the development of flexible office concepts. Due to the uncertain future, companies will demand much more flexibility in space rental than these concepts, including coworking”, says Alexandra Tomášková.
Add life to your workspace, so you don’t want to leave the room.
Biophilia is the love for all things living and the key to biophilia design, such a trend when it comes to interior and corporate design.
This idea has health, environmental, and economic benefits, and although its name was coined in recent history, indicators of biophilia design have been seen in architecture from as far back as the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The appearance of the natural world, with its rich diversity of shapes, colors, and life, is universally appreciated and brings you several benefits, such as:
– Reduces stress levels – Increases productivity – Reduces sick days – Makes workplaces more attractive – Reduces pollution and cleans the air by reducing noise levels – Boosts creativity levels
Biophilic design, however, must be implemented correctly to optimize health benefits and potential monetary savings. Here you have the good practices to achieve a nice and beneficial ambiance:
Natural Environment – Features of the natural world that are incorporated into an office setting. Basic things like earthy colors, sunlight, plants, images of animals and nature.
Natural Shapes – Lines, shapes, and forms that occur in nature (arches and vaults, recreating rock shelves, water paths).
