This Kitchen Island Is The Crown Jewel of Brian Brown Studio’s Residential Project! Check out!
Aquick confession: we love all our kitchen cabinets, but if we had to pick a favorite spot in the heart of the home, it’s all about the island. There’s just no denying that this free-floating prep-and-storage superhero is the centerpoint of any functional family kitchen—quite literally, since it’s smack-in-the-middle of the action. (And that goes double for when you’re hosting houseguests—ever notice that cocktail parties always seem to gravitate toward the island, no matter what?).
Brian Brown Studio is awell-established design company, located in sunny California, that has developed several contemporary design projects. Among so many drop-dead beautiful works, we can’t deny Marston Hills project caught our eye! Today, Inspirations Blog will give you a home tour and you’ll immediately understand why the kitchen island is the crown jewel of the entire project!
Brian Brown Studio needs no introduction. The CA design company is smart, real, trustworthy, and has an incredible design team capable of putting together outstanding ambiances that will match the clients’ needs and wishes.
“We question things. We want to know how this works, why this is here, who made this, and what it impacts and influences. We like to have fun. We are playful plus elegant because after all, we have a lot of good energy coming from all the good things we surround ourselves with. We are also keenly aware of both our own as well as your potential.”
The company has a wide portfolio of incredible design projects of different styles and scales, but we’ve fall in love with Marston Hills project. There is something about this contemporary residential work that can’t get out of our heads!
Open kitchens, or modern, open-concept layouts in general, are perfect for casual family living or entertaining, as it encourages seamless movement and interaction from room to room. Eliminating the barrier between the kitchen and social spaces not only works for gatherings, but also opens up your floor plan, giving it the illusion of more square footage.
One of the best parts about an open kitchen design is the integration of an island. This will often serve as the centerpiece to your cooking and entertaining, but we love how this kitchen design also makes it a visual focal point. Keeping this center island predominantly white and utilizing high-contrast details ensures your eye will always lead you to the visual interest of the space.
While most open-concept designs boast a modern feel, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the open and inviting layout in your eclectic home. We love how this space exudes such personality while sharing open-kitchen qualities often found in minimalistic homes.
Using multiple materials in contrasting colors and finishes, like this white marble and wood island against the brown backdrop, made this kitchen feel one of a kind.
