BDW<\/strong> is now considered an official member of the World Design Weeks<\/strong><\/em>. From the 27th of March to the 7th of April, Boston will be the city stage of one of the most important design events: Boston Design Week<\/em><\/strong>. The 6th edition has several new specials that you cannot miss, however today we\u2019ll tell you everything you should know about it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main goal is to present different perspectives of design and how it can be a tool to solve the world\u2019s top issues. Besides that, the event will bring a new audience to a \u201ca wide array of design industries and organisations\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encourage the public to invest and to participate more on all the aspects of design is one of the biggest challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn international coalition to share knowledge, resources, and best practices, fostering the exchange of products and ideas, sustainable development and the growth of individual design events\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save the Date! On the 5th of April<\/strong>, the Boston Design Week Design Awards will be announced!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boston Design Week Lifetime Achievement Award\u00a0<\/strong>is\u00a0one\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0awards\u00a0and\u00a0it\u00a0will\u00a0recognize\u00a0the\u00a0person\u00a0that has exceed on the design field an that his\/her work has spanned both the 20th and 21st centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other awards will be the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award<\/em><\/strong> ,presented to: Roger Thomas, Executive Vice President of Design, Wynn Design and Development, and Principal, The Roger Thomas Collection, which current Project is Encore Boston Harbor.\u00a0<\/em>The Mentor of the Year<\/strong>, Newcomer of the Year<\/strong>, and\u00a0The Social Impact Award\u00a0will\u00a0also\u00a0be\u00a0presented.\u00a0<\/strong>Don\u2019t\u00a0miss\u00a0the\u00a0change\u00a0to\u00a0buy\u00a0the\u00a0ticket\u00a0and\u00a0know\u00a0first\u00a0hand\u00a0the\u00a0winners!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
