Juan Pablo Molyneux<\/a><\/em><\/strong> attended teh Ecole des Beaux-Arts and the Ecole du Louvre, after studying architecture at the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica of Santiago. \u201cIt was in the inspiring works of French architects Louis Le Vau, Ange-Jacques Gabriel, and Claude-Nicolas Ledoux that Juan Pablo Molyneux first acquired his knowledge and passion of\u00a0historical styles<\/strong>.<\/a> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"Ebook<\/a>\n\n\n\n

The interior designer<\/a><\/strong><\/em> founded a studio in New York in 1980s and one in Paris, in the late 90s. These particular cities will always be in his heart, he says. \u201cIn my offices, this perpetual movement of the spirit inspires us all to creativity and inventiveness. Enjoying what you are doing is one of the secrets of a successful project\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re able to see a little bit of Juan\u2019s work spread worlwide: he founded private residences in South Africa, USA, Canada, Europe, and even Middle East. The designer believes that his work is not only ambitious just because of the design he is knwon for, but also the excellence of materials, furnishing and lighting he picks for every project. We\u2019re talking about handmade pieces, unique design pieces that are made by talented artisans that still use ancient techniques to continue elevating design and craftsmanship.\u00a0<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juan\u2019s projects are bold, electic, ambitious and they are different from everything we\u2019ve ever seen! Some of his design projects include master works such as Pavilion of Treaties, in St. Petersburg, the Russian Rooms of the Palais des Nations, in Geneva, both for the Russian Federation, and the salons of the Cercle de l\u2019Union Interalli\u00e9e in Paris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When questioned about the most challenging projects he did, Juan says that his work for the palatial residence in canada was definitely the one that he put the most effort on it, because \u201cthe client was very refined and knowledgeable about late 18th-century Russian architecture, which was an inspiration for the\u00a0<\/em>project<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u201c.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis venture to build an 18th century Russian Palace in the 21st century was a real challenge. However, I have only the fondest memories of it. The years spent working on this 3,000-square meter project were a great pleasure. Because of his vision and his background, the client challenged me intellectually and professionally. This began with our first meeting when he quizzed my knowledge and aesthetics in a way that was more like an oral examination of a doctoral candidate, than a typical business meeting!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSpecialized in\u00a0<\/em>high-end residential designs,<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>Juan Pablo Molyneux<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0also creates inspiring institutional projects always inspired by the<\/em>\u00a0history<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0behind the building. His name is associated with major renovation and constructions projects in 3 European capitals: Vienna, London, and Moscow. The goal of these 3\u00a0<\/em>inspiring projects<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0was to create the most<\/em>\u00a0luxury design residences<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in Europe\u201d.<\/em> \u201cWhat I do find tiresome is when, in the name of the latest fashion, the end of tradition is proclaimed yet again and everyone praises the new trends, presenting them as the true future of\u00a0interior design<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u201c, says Juan Pablo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
