This is a special residential project<\/a><\/em><\/strong> for the rapper Drake: he decided to have a monumental scale house in his hometown with a strong structure that will make it last 100 years. \u201cIt will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong,\u201d<\/em> he adds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An \u201cold-world craftsmanship, constructed of limestone, bronze, exotic woods, and other noble materials. Every detail of the sprawling property has been meticulously conceived and executed. And there isn\u2019t a\u00a0Scarface\u00a0poster in sight\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A contemporary house d\u00e9cor<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>with a touch of European Classic style<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and Art D\u00e9co. Classic European Style can be characterized by a mix of different aesthetics:\u00a0Victorian, Art Deco, Greek and Roman<\/em>. The design pieces of this particular style are a combination of modern and classic desing, with a glam of\u00a0minimalistic<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0modern style<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, what is\u00a0contemporary style<\/strong><\/em>? \u00a0Contemporary means \u2018at the moment\u2019, which makes this style particularly hard to define. Dating back to the 1970s, this style is unique because it borrows elements from many other aesthetics.\u00a0In it, you can see nods to modern, traditional, art deco and even\u00a0futuristic design.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0At the end, it means that contemporary style is always evolving, and the team does its best to be always updated with the latest design trends. \u201cIn form, materials, and execution, the structure is a proper 19th-century limestone mansion. But the exterior profiles are more minimal and the lines are a bit cleaner,\u201d <\/em>says Rafauli, who heads his own namesake luxury design\/build firm based in Ontario. \u201cThis isn\u2019t stucco, paint, and fake gold. That\u2019s not what Drake wanted, and that\u2019s not what I do.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high-contrast combination is sophisticated and dramatic.\u00a0You can combine the color of furniture, space, decorations to create the perfect modern classic style. To make this style even more atractive, the\u00a0designer\u00a0displayed several nice accessories, but not exaggerating it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The studio lounge is where the art d\u00e9co style can be easily spoted: \u201cThe room\u2019s crowning glory is a foliate ceiling of concentric backlit hexagonal panels wrapped in Alcantara faux suede, with a massive Venini-glass sunburst chandelier dropped from its center. The furnishings, here as throughout the home, were all custom designed by Rafauli in materials that range from dyed ostrich skin and mohair to macassar and bronze\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
