Strandkai<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>is the stage of an innovative design project<\/a><\/em><\/strong> that puts together all the different beauties of the hanseatic city. From cheap hotels to luxury properties<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, from high-end stores<\/em><\/strong> to exquisite restaurants<\/em><\/strong>, being Strandkai<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>is a way of living.<\/p>\n

Hamburg<\/em><\/strong> is one of the most residential cities in Germany, and this particular area seemed the perfect place to start an ambitious luxury project<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>with a mid-century modern touch.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

FIFTYNINE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This presidential tower<\/em><\/strong> called FIFTYNINE <\/a><\/strong>was designed by the worldwide renowned architect<\/em><\/strong>,<\/a> Hadi Teherani. The design expert<\/a><\/em><\/strong> did many other projects in Hamburg, so we can tell that the German city already has his unique signature style. <\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The building has 16 floors and a rooftop with an amazing view over the Elba. 76 luxury apartments inspired by the shape of ship decks with 53,89 m2. The client can customize their own home, based on their personal taste, however the mid-century modern ambiances won our hearts<\/em><\/strong>! <\/a><\/p>\n

This open floor plan<\/em><\/strong> does its best to connect the interior with the exterior, creating the sense of infinite. Having the right balance between natural and artificial light<\/em><\/strong> can emphasize volumes and shapes, adding contrast to the room. This is one of the main parameters of mid-century modern design.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But what is mid-century modern style<\/em><\/strong><\/a>? As a result of economic changes in Germany after the second World War, several Bauhaus architects and interior designers migrated to America, starting a design movement know as Mid-century modern<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, characterized by elegance, simplicity and functionality<\/em>. These apartments have a neutral and solid color palette with a range of different shades of grey that pair up perfectly with the curved-line shaped furniture. <\/p>\n
