Considered an <\/em><\/strong>aestehtic-driven and born creative<\/em><\/strong>, Giulio Brambilla<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/a> is a renowned Italian designer, always searching for globe\u2019s vintage warehouses, ateliers and galleries<\/em><\/strong>. After graduating in Architecture in Milan, Giulio made his debut in the interior design field<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, woking alongside with some of the most well-known Italian Design Brands.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by his incredible travels to Europe, Asia, and the US, Giulio is proud to say that he has uncovered hidden gems and curiosities about each place. His unique signature style<\/a><\/em><\/strong> has an eclectic touch since he\u2019s able to mix different aesthetics with art and antique rescue furniture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While some of us derive joy from plowing through episode after episode of their favorite show on TV, Giulio prefers spending an afternoon looking for unique material combinations, patterns and colors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, the designer launched his own mid-century brand<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>in a tribute to the golden years of the Italian Design<\/em><\/strong>. The brand was showcased at iSaloni 2019,<\/em><\/strong> and is currently distributed in the most influential design cities of around the globe. His unique portfolio has a wide range of incredible residential and commercial design projects<\/a><\/em><\/strong> with a modern mid-century vibe<\/a><\/em><\/strong> that make us dream of getting back in time. Today, we\u2019ll open the door of building B, part of the incredible residential project of City Life<\/a> | Hadid Residence<\/span>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGiulio created a unique fusion between Italian Brands and Asian Design; resulting in an eclectic mix o mi-century, modern, and sophisticated Italian design embellished with the beautiful collection from Asia.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what is\u00a0mid-century modern style<\/em><\/strong><\/a>? As a result of economic changes in Germany after the second World War, several Bauhaus architects and interior designers migrated to America, starting a design movement know as\u00a0Mid-century modern<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, characterized by\u00a0elegance, simplicity and functionality<\/em>. This residential project has a neutral and solid color palette with a range of different shades of grey and blue that pair up perfectly with the curved-line shaped furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s easy to understand why so many design expert idolize\u00a0mid-century modern style<\/a><\/em><\/strong>: clean lines, gentle organic lines, neutral color palettes, and the love for\u00a0different materials and textures.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The juxtaposition of different materials and the minimal ornamentation<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0are key to get a cozy and\u00a0elegant bedroom d\u00e9cor<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0that will make us feel relaxed and ready to recharge the batteries for the daily basis. The\u00a0balcony\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>makes us feel out in the world without leaving the house \u2013 something quite important nowadays due to the pandemic crisis we\u2019re facing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most complicated tasks when creating an\u00a0interior d\u00e9cor project<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is to find the\u00a0perfect lighting<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and furniture. To furnish in\u00a0mid-century modern<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0might seem difficult, however buying vintage is one way to do it. Generally, one large piece can set the tone nicely and, in this case, the blue table lamps are definitely the center of attention! As you can also check on the images, the designer decided not to go for many patterns, and stayed within a color range.\u00a0Navy blue<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0was a great choice for two reasons: first, it\u2019s\u00a0Pantone Color of the Year 2020<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, and second, it resembles the tones of the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
