Considered one of the <\/em><\/strong>most prolific designers<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>of his generation, Karim Rashid<\/em><\/strong> has a unique futuristic design style signature <\/em><\/strong>that can be recognized immediately. \u201cOver 4000 designs in production, over 300 awards and working in over 40 countries attest to Karim\u2019s legend of design.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the longest time design only existed for the elite and for a small insular culture. I have worked hard for the last 20 years trying to make design a public subjetc.<\/p>\nKarim Rashid<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

With the goal of bringing design to the entire world, Karim Rashid is based in one of the most cosmopolitan cities, New York.<\/a><\/em><\/strong> His portfolio is filled with incredible residential, hospitality and architectural design projects<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, spread all over the world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis award winning designs include luxury goods for Christofle, Veuve Clicquot, and Alessi, democratic products for Umbra, Bobble, and 3M, furniture for Bonaldo and Vondom, lighting for Artemide and Fontana Arte, high tech products for Asus and Samsung, surface design for Marburg and Abet Laminati, brand identity for Citibank and Sony Ericsson and packaging for Method, Paris Baguette, Kenzo and Hugo Boss. Karim\u2019s touch expands beyond product to interiors such as the Morimoto restaurant, Philadelphia; Semiramis hotel, Athens; nhow hotel, Berlin; Universita Metro Station, Naples as well as exhibition design for Deutsche Bank and Audi.Karim\u2019s work is featured in 20 permanent collections and he exhibits art in galleries world wide. Bright accents such as furniture items, artworks, and feature walls can be seen to bring in the color to the decor. When in comes about shapes, curved and asymmetric shapes and lines can be often seen in his futuristic furniture items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
