One of the best things about summer is just how much more space you have. While you may be stuck to your house\u2019s square footage during the depths of winter, the warm temperatures allow you to take advantage of the square footage\u00a0outside\u00a0<\/em>of your home. Whether you have a\u00a0small patio\u00a0or an expansive\u00a0backyard, spending some time nailing your outdoor d\u00e9cor<\/strong><\/em><\/a> can help to create so much more living space.<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Ashley Graham and her husband, Justin Ervin knew they wanted their children to grow up in a place where they could easily play in a yard and they, too, could take a moment to step back and relax.<\/p>\n

Graham had lived in New York City for a big part of her life, but also created memorable milestones of falling in love, getting married, starting a family, and running an entire business in the Big Apple. \u201cEverything was there for us, our family. But we were like, we have three children. We have three children. And that\u2019s what we kept going back to,\u201d says Graham.<\/p>\n

Graham decided to team up with the designer Mikel Welch to design her dream backyard<\/strong><\/em> c<\/a>omplemented by natural tones and lush greenery. The goal was to create a welcoming space where the model could play with her kids, relax and have memorable moments with friends and family.<\/p>\n

One of the most important steps of any outdoor d\u00e9cor<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is to find the right outdoor furniture and lighting pieces<\/a>. <\/strong><\/em>A beautiful outdoor setting<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>is only as good as its function. Make sure to focus on both form and\u00a0<\/em>function when setting up your outdoor space.
