\u201cI was in a place where I wanted everything in my house to be super trippy,\u201d Demi Lovato says. \u201cI wanted it to be kind of psychedelic and super vibey, but I also wanted it to have good hosting energy for when I have people over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lovato admits that she doesn\u2019t spend much time in the reception room but wanted it to be dramatic since it\u2019s the first room people see when they walk into the\u00a0modern house<\/strong><\/a>. A Tentazione sofa by Mario Bellini in yellow velvet, Tulip stools by Eero Saarinen, and LCW\u00a0chairs<\/strong>\u00a0by Eames for Herman Miller in a black finish can all be seen. A Saber rug from House of Hackney is on the floor.<\/p>\n

Argyle Studio incorporated fish and seashells into the\u00a0dining room decor<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>to create an underwater ambiance. A leopard\u00a0print rug<\/strong>\u00a0from Safavieh can be spotted under the Warren Platner dining set. A\u00a0six-globe chandelier from Entler Studio\u00a0hangs from the ceiling.<\/p>\n

A Barcelona-style daybed is stationed in front of a Damien Hirst painting and a Vladimir Kagan lamp in this hallway, where guests have a stunning view of the\u00a0Seashell\u00a0pendant chandelier<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0by Verner Panton.\u00a0Lovato is particularly obsessed with this painting,\u00a0Summer Volleyball,<\/em>\u00a0by Monica Kim Garza.<\/p>\n

Bell and Drew\u2019s vision for the\u00a0primary bedroom<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was whimsical, with an \u201cethereal heaven-type feel to it\u201d and a touch of rock and roll. They sourced a Cleopatra Chaise Lounge by Geoffrey D. Harcourt RDI for\u00a0Artifort\u00a0and a pair of Beluga chairs by Atra to match the custom bed platform.<\/p>\n

Lovato wanted the\u00a0primary bathroom<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>to be very zen, which was achieved thanks to pieces like an\u00a0opalescent chandelier<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0by Carlo Nason. \u201cIt was really important to me to have an area that I could really, really relax in,\u201d Lovato notes. Custom ottoman upholstered in House of Hackney\u2019s Tigre velvet.<\/p>\n

Lovato refers to this room as her \u201coverflow closet,\u201d where she keeps stuff that \u201cI don\u2019t actually wear, but I don\u2019t know what to do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

If the Murano\u00a0glass chandelier<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0dangling from the ceiling doesn\u2019t make it obvious, the studio design takes inspiration from crystals. \u201cThe studio is my place where I create, it\u2019s my little safe haven, and I wanted it to be comfortable and zen, and fun and creative at the same time,\u201d Lovato says. A pair of velvet\u00a0Eero Saarinen executive chairs\u00a0and an\u00a0upholstered stitch stool by Eny Lee Parker are placed around a rug from Cold Picnic.<\/p>\n

Lovato\u2019s beloved Yorkipoos are living their best lives in the five-star puppy lounge. \u201cIt\u2019s completely netted, so that they can go out there anytime they want and feel totally safe,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n

On the patio, a set of pink\u00a0Roly Poly chairs by Faye Toogood\u00a0are set around a\u00a0glass table<\/strong>\u00a0with a brass base; it is one of Lovato\u2019s go-to breakfast spots.<\/p>\n

\u201cI take a lot of meetings there\u2014a lot of brainstorming has come from those two couches,\u201d Lovato says about this pair of\u00a0CB2 love seats\u00a0on the patio.<\/p>\n

Lovato\u2019s favorite feature in the backyard is the theater screen that pulls down so she can watch movies outside from wherever she wants. \u201cYou can watch them from the bed, from inside the hot tub, or in the pool, and it\u2019s a really cool vibe,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
