They were quite intense and overwhelming, but at the end, the experience was completely worth it. Best Stand<\/h3>\n

Once again, DelightFULL<\/a> stood out among the crowd by exalting the eternal flair<\/strong> of mid-century modern design. Paired with partner Essential Home<\/a>, the brand was able to\u00a0provide a full design experience.

Best Trend<\/h3>\n

Organically shaped lighting\u00a0<\/strong>was the most recognisable trend during ICFF 2017<\/em>. Brands like\u00a0David Trubridge <\/strong>and\u00a0Vita<\/strong> were the boldest\u00a0exhibitors following this trend. At this year\u2019s edition, Vita presented\u00a0Eos Collection<\/strong>, \u201cdrawing its force and mesmerising beauty from the earth tones of the Nordic landscape (\u2026)\u201d

Best Conference<\/h3>\n

Among the extensive list of conferences during ICFF Talks<\/strong>, Decorating Interiors with Light<\/em> was one of the most interesting. Themes like the importance of lighting when planning a design and the accuracy of presentation images when it comes to illumination were thoroughly discussed. A special note goes to David Trubridge<\/strong> who stated that he was not concerned for not presenting new designs regularly<\/strong>, claiming that his designs are not like fashion which changes seasonally.

ICFF Editor\u2019s Awards<\/h3>\n

Products to aid those with memory loss and an exhibition stand\u00a0made\u00a0from\u00a0carved blue foam and mirrors are among the award winners at this year\u2019s International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York. Our highlight goes to\u00a0Trueing<\/strong>,\u00a0a Brooklyn-based design studio established just four months before the trade fair, but still won the Emerging Designer<\/strong> prize after presenting a set of table lamps with spinning dichroic disks.
