The Present, because our pieces are handmade by national producers that use peculiar and unique techniques. And, of course, the Future, because we are witnessing innovative designs.
\nThe mid-century lighting brand<\/em><\/strong><\/a> \u2019s designers deconstruct certain concepts and create innovative pieces that are going to be presented at Light\u00a0and Building 2018<\/em><\/strong>, in Frankfurt, from 18th<\/sup> to 23rd<\/sup> of March.
\nToday, we give you the opportunity to travel with Botti Lamp<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. This mid-century design<\/em><\/strong> was inspired by the American trumpeter and composer, Chris Botti.<\/p>\n

1962<\/h3>\n

\"We<\/a>
\nChristopher Stephen Botti, know as Chris Botti, was born on the 12th of October, 1962.
\nThis year was marked by his birth, but it was also the year that Telstar had its first live trans-Atlantic television signal, the first Beatles single \u201cLove Me Do\u201d was released, Marilyn Monroe\u00a0was found dead, Cuban Missile Crisis took world to brink of war and John H. Glenn, Jr., became the\u00a0first American to orbit the earth.
\nThis year was a roller coaster, with its ups and downs. However, now we are going to travel in time and see the highlights of Chris Botti\u2019s career!<\/p>\n

\"We<\/a><\/h3>\n

1985 \u2013 1995<\/h3>\n

\"We<\/a>
\nBotti left Indiana University during his senior year for short touring stints with Frank Sinatra and Buddy Rich. In 1985, he moved to New York City to hone his craft as a studio musician.
\nIn 1990, he began a decade long touring and recording relationship with Paul Simon, which broadened his exposure to other singers. During that period, he also performed\/recorded with Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole and others.<\/p>\n

1995 \u2013 2000<\/h3>\n

\"We<\/a>
\nBotti\u2019s solo debut, First Wish<\/i>, was released in 1995, his second effort, Midnight Without You.
\nIn 1999, Botti was invited to tour with Sting as a featured soloist in the Brand New Day<\/i> tour.\u00a0The american music player\u00a0attributes his relationship with Sting as having changed the course of his career.<\/sup><\/p>\n

2001 \u2013 Present<\/h3>\n

\"We<\/a>
\nBotti was introduced to Columbia by Bobby Colomby, drummer and founding member of Blood, Sweat & Tears, who went on to become his producer and manager. Botti\u2019s first Columbia release was Night Sessions<\/i> in 2001.
\nBy June 2009, Chris Botti had released 12 solo albums. His first few releases are often classified as smooth jazz. That same year as well as the following year, Botti appeared as a Pennington Great Performers series artist with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra<\/p>\n

Based in all the historical and personal events, it is easy to understand why DelightFULL did this tribute.
