DelightFULL<\/strong><\/em> so decided to create a lighting design piece<\/strong><\/em> that would embody her, and the team came up with a magnificent result: Janis Lamp<\/strong><\/em>!<\/p>\n

\n\u201cRaise Your Hand<\/strong><\/em>\u201d for the first female rock star! Janis Joplin<\/em> <\/strong>was born on the 19th of January, 1943, in Texas. Her interest for music began in an early age, however her music career only started when she joined the Big Brother and the Holding Company in 1966.

\nThe album Cheap Thrills<\/em> was a huge success! \u201d\u00a0Known for her powerful, blues-inspired vocals\u201d Joplin released her first solo effort, I Got Dem Ol\u2019 Kozmic Blues Again Mama!<\/em>, in 1966. \u00a0Unfortunately, the singer died very young, at the age of 27, on the 4th of October, 1970.

\n\u201cA Piece of my heart<\/strong><\/em>\u201c, of our hearts died with the singer. On this Thursday, we\u2019ll celebrate the 48th anniversary of the death of the singer, and we could not pass by this day without doing the right tribute to her!<\/p>\n
