\nTOP INTERIOR DESIGNERS | Barbara Barry<\/strong><\/em> set up her Los Angeles based interior design practice in 1985. Starting from residential interior design, the firm has grown to \u00a0and expanded to commercial design, as well as an extensive portfolio of home\u00a0furnishings.
\nBarbara never worked for any other designer and mainly self-thought. The success of her studio in gaining top-level clients and cooperating with best manufacturers is therefore even more impressive. In October 2012 the designer published her first book \u201cAround Beauty\u201d.

\nBarbara\u2019s biggest inspiration comes from nature:
\n\u201cIt influences all that I do. Born in northern and living in southern California it\u2019s apparent how much California\u00a0has influenced my work. The pale blue-grays of the San Francisco fog, the saturated celadons of Los Angeles\u2019s agaves, and the myriad of greens out my every window have formed my signature palette.\u00a0The constant California light has illuminated for me the power of\u00a0nuance.\u201d<\/em>
\nCurrently Barbara Barry Incorporated employs 12 designers and architects, with talent and inspiration to create truly magnificent products and spaces. The work that emerges from the designer\u2019s office speaks to purity of form and simplicity of line, whether it is in a custom home, a signature fabric, or a cup and saucer.\u00a0 For commercial and private spaces, Barry\u2019s designs are renowned for being international in scope and sophisticated in style. BBI created homes for many of the most prominent American families. Their other projects include restaurants, retail spaces, private offices and even custom yachts.
\nBarbara and her studio formed many longstanding partnerships with internationally renowned companies, including designs for: Ann Sacks Tile & Stone, Baccarat Crystal, Baker Furniture, Boyd Lighting, Hartmann Luggage, HBF Furniture, Global Views, Henredon, Kallista, Kravet Fabrics, McGuire Furniture, Tufenkian Carpets, Visual Comfort and Wedgwood. Barbara Barry Bedding, her signature line, is becoming an American staple across the country.\u00a0 Barbara Barry collections are sold in design centers and fine furniture stores throughout the world. Today, there are Barbara Barry galleries in Bangkok, Singapore, Moscow and Kuala Lumpur.
