\nIn the words of the designers, \u201cThis kitchen has been designed to be the hub of the home\u201d. <\/em>It was to be \u201cas beautiful as it was functional\u201d<\/em> once it a place for the entire family to spend much of their time. (see more here<\/a><\/em>)

\nThey\u00a0selected a vibrant blue heavily-veined granite for the island top. It provides a show-stopping focal point and a visual anchor to the space.

\nThe rose tone of the copper adds warmth to the space and a visual connection to the coral tones used in adjacent rooms. Trimming copper-fronted doors in steel has allowed them\u00a0to integrate stainless steel appliances seamlessly into the design.
