A new contemporary project by Gerard Faivre:\u00a0<\/strong>L\u2019Appartement at Rue Bonapart,\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0an elegant design with a retro lighting inspiration.
\nDesigned by G\u00e9rard Faivre<\/a><\/strong>, the french revolutionary art homes concept creator, offers fully renovated, ready to live, prestige apartments for sale.
\nThis apartment is no exception! A place where art, design, lights, music and scents create a unique and one of a kind experience. Finished in December 2015, the designer was inspired by the French Revolution in every corner of the project.
\nL\u2019Appartement at Rue Bonapart is an apartment full of history: its construction dates the year of 1880 and is the major restructuring of Paris, decided by Napoleon III and directed by Baron Haussmann. The buildings on the street became more exclusive, only one apartment per floor, the second floor is the main floor and has a long balcony along the entire facade. This building, located 20 meters from St. Germain, perfectly matches what lovers search in Saint Germain des Pr\u00e9s.

\n\u201cWhat interested me in this project is the preservation of the original construction of the time, for example: the marble, inlaid mirrors in worked-wood. I wanted to keep these characteristics as they really mark the time of the building. I composed here a bold staging inspired by the past, influenced by the style of the Second Empire, while dreaming of the future. We find the emblematic colors of that era: oranges, greens, blues and also the shades of gold that symbolized wealth, luxury and which bring an extra sparkle<\/em>\u201c, says G\u00e9rard, \u201ca foreign lover of authentic Paris style will find it very suitable<\/em>.\u201d

\nThe project is inspired by bold colors like green, orange and gold, and emblematic materials like velvet, wood and marble. These colors and materials were usually found on the interior decors by the time of the Second Empire, and symbolized a certain \u201cbourgeoisie<\/em>\u201d. That was what G\u00e9rard was seeking for L\u2019Appartement at Rue Bonapart<\/em>.

\nThe designer is always looking for new designs and new brands that represent the luxury with which he can collaborate\u00a0and use in his projects. Working with DelightFULL was a great experience. The brand is presented in the living room lighting with pieces like Ike Suspension Lamp<\/a> above the dining table, Hendrix Wall Lamp<\/a> above the sofa in the living room and also Donna Table Lamp<\/a> in the fireplace.
\nThis collaboration between G\u00e9rard Faivre<\/strong> and DelightFULL<\/strong> turned out to be a very special, colorful and high-end residential project.
