\nThis amazing apartment is located in the roof space of a three-storey building in Barcelona\u2019s\u00a0Sant Andreu neighbourhood. Garcia started the\u00a0overhaul\u00a0of the home by breaking down some walls!

\nThe 45-square-metre apartment is divided in two zones by bookcases and white curtains, one zone for sleeping and bathing, and the other for cooking and lounging.

\n\u201cThe main goal of this project was\u00a0clear \u2013 it needed much more natural light and a greater breadth of space,\u201d explained Garcia. \u201cAll the interior walls that served as light barriers were taken down, and all the fixed elements \u2013 such as the kitchen, bathroom, and closets \u2013 were mounted up on the lateral perimeter walls.\u201d
