Well, the Asdfg Architekten, from Hamburg saw an old Miller\u2019s house from the 19th<\/sup> century and didn\u2019t miss the opportunity to transform it into a nice place to live in.<\/p>\n

\nIn one of the most charismatic neighborhoods in Berlin, Prenzlauerberg, the Asdfg Architekten, from Hamburg, found a former Miller\u2019s house from the 19th<\/sup> century that has already been used as a\u00a0police station and workshop but, at the time, was abandoned. Its owner wanted to make a home out of it and contacted the young team of architects that had, that way, their first project in hands.

\nTo a common mortal, the idea of the owner to convert the house into a home for a family with three children\u00a0seems an impossible mission. But the final result proves exactly the opposite.

\nIn order to gain some space, they only kept the outside brick walls and one massive wall in the middle to support the stairs. All the other rooms are around this wall and on the first floor.

\nOn the ground floor you can find the living room and the kitchen, and on the second floor, you can find the bedrooms and the studio.

\nAround the house, you can find some interesting details. For example, the master bedroom and the studio are separated by a sliding door and the children beds are on an elevated platform and the stairs to access it also work as storage.

\nThe inside walls kept the brick exposed and the design of the fa\u00e7ade was kept loyal to its original.
