This week\u2019s \u2018Room of the Week\u2019 is all about living rooms. More precisely, about one particular open plan living room<\/strong><\/em> in beautiful Minsk, Belarus.

\nThe whole home design was planned and carried out by Shmidt Studio<\/a> and the result, as you\u2019ll be able to see, was a very modern living room, filled with stunning details and unique lighting designs<\/a>.<\/strong>

The entryway takes us right into the living room\u00a0as if it was almost part of it. This long and wide corridor comes up as an invitation to make our way into the open plan living space.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both the dining and living spaces were planned to interact with each other\u00a0and create a sense ofharmony throughout the whole space.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The living area stands out for its neutral tones, paired together with that very contemporary looking concrete-inspired TV wall. Moreover, the mid-century cantilevered floor lamp next to the comfortable sofa creates a balance between the contemporary and the vintage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The leather accent chair and the ottoman<\/strong> reinforce the mid-century feeling. The coffee table has a very Scandinavian vibe, which is lovely. This is proof that by mixing all these different styles together<\/strong> you can create something stunning and unique.<\/p>\n

Lastly, we had to talk about the modern suspension lighting design above the dining table. Much like the cantilevered floor lamp we\u2019ve seen before, it creates a balance and takes the whole room to a different level. In this case, we\u2019re looking at Duke suspension lamp<\/a> by DelightFULL<\/a>.<\/p>\n
