Penthouse 502 is one of the most famous and peculiar projects of their portfolio, with a graceful 1940’s high style. One of the keys of success is the attention to detail: the company works alongside with some of the best furnishing and lighting companies of the world, and here we can check out an amazing furniture vintage combination that creates a unique vibe, just like we have stepped inside a time machine, and traveled to the golden years!
Listening to the client’s needs and wishes is crucial to put together a décor that reflects it. In this particular project, the clients wanted a ‘pied-a-terre’ for a weekend getaway into the city. The team guarantees that the client is updated with all the changes and big decisions of the project, since the determination of the design concept, color palette, and furniture and lighting fixtures.
One of the biggest goals is to keep the unique signature style of the company, however adding a touch of the latest design trends. Open floor plan is a huge trend this year, and one of the first decisions of the team was to remove the walls in order to create the feeling of an infinite space.
Sometimes less is more, and, in this case we can apply that motto. The main room has a book matched granite fireplace column, and the company let ‘the billion-year-old rock do some showing off, no additional art needed’.
Lighting is an important feature in a home décor, because it can emphasize volumes and shapes, creating a constrast in the room. The detailed luxurious chandelier and pendant lamps are the center of attention!
Having in mind that this home would be used mainly for weekend entertainment, the team of design experts chose a mural from Juares Machado’s, named ‘le fete continue’, that means ‘the party continues’. This backdrop mural combined with mid-century dining room chairs put together a unique 50’s ambiance.
