Located in Pirita, Tallinn, this minimalistic mid-century house was created by the design duo, Natalya Perova and Tarmo Okva. A timeless residential project with 620 m 2 and the best selection of mid-century lighting and furniture pieces.
“A private interior is always made for a specific customer: taking into account their lifestyle, habits, tastes, hobbies. I like the comparison: a good design project is like a perfect tailored suit, in which you feel comfortable and confident,” says designer Natalya Perova.
The designers work alongside with some of the best design brands in the world in order to provide the best lighting and furniture solutions to their clients. Lighting is probably one of the most important steps in any design project, because the right balance between natural and artificial light can emphasize volumes and shapes, adding contrast and depth to the rooms. This time, the duo selected the Portuguese mid-century lighting brand, DelightFULL, to be part of the project.

“In this project, working in partnership with the client was a success. We understood each other well. The client has great taste, broad vision, he lived in America for a long time, I – in Canada, we both travel a lot to different countries, absorbing the aesthetics of world design, the love of art, collecting. He accepted my ideas with enthusiasm and I, for my part, listened to the customer’s opinion. We wanted to create a dynamic multi-layered interior that was simple and luxurious at the same time. “
