DW São Paulo Design Weekend is just around the corner! Between the 29th of August to the 2nd of September, the Brazilian city is going to showcase the best of the best of the design world! Are you going to miss it?

The Brazilian design event is much more than a design celebration, that is used to gather influential people. It’s a way to think about the importance of the world design and how it’s capable to solve problems.

São Paulo Design Week, known as DW!, is an urban event, which main goal is to promote the culture of design and its connections with other areas, such as art, urbanism, social matters, business, technology and architecture.

The Brazilian festival was put together by the CEO of the Summit Promo, Lauro Andrade.
He was completely in love when he attended Milan Trade Show, iSaloni, and London Design Festival, and he had the idea to organize something similar, in Brazil, that would gather influential people from a wide range of areas, that would discuss important economic issues, solving it with design solutions.

His dream came true in 2012, with the first edition of DW! São Paulo Design Week! Since then, it has gained international recognition and, nowadays, it is one of the most influential design festivals.

With several different activities and events all over the city of São Paulo, the Brazilian festival happens in different districts – wisely chosen by their urban style with lot of action – and hubs, a place that offers a diverse range of events.

If you are going to attend the festival, please be sure to check the agenda and plan the days off! However, we can tell you that you’ll be able to see lectures, guided tours and workshops, exhibitions, urban events, seminars, business fairs, and much more.

And, yes, there will also be a lot of parties to celebrate design as a solution for economic problems!

Besides that, there will also be a lot of new launches of new products and stores. We are sure that you love novelties!

Some events are private, but others are for all type of visitors that are willing to get to know a little bit more of the design world!

Why should you attend? It’s a great way to meet other influential professionals, stablishing new contacts; it’s a great opportunity to understand how can design be a solution for other areas; and, of course, see all the latest design novelties and products!
