The 27th November was the first Sunday of the Advent and most Christmas markets have started on that day. Glühwein and Lebkuchen, decorations and lights shining all around are only some of the things you can see there. Besides, they are a great alternative to buy unique Christmas presents once most of them are handcraft.

The surrounding environment is another of the reasons why the Christmas markets are worthy. The smell of the hot chestnuts and of grilled sausages will hypnotize you and the gingerbread biscuits or Lebkuchen as the Germans call them, together with the marzipan figures will warm your heart and wake memories up.
