INSPIRING NEW YORK MODERN APARTMENT WITH LIGHTING DESIGNS
Somewhere in the city that never sleeps there’s a project by Jessica Gersten Interiors that has completely stolen our hearts. This New York modern apartment is full of color and luxurious details, from lighting designs to stunning decor elements in the living room.
Located in Manhattan, more precisely in the classy area best known as the Upper East Side, Jessica Gersten Interiors calls it a post-modern project. And as you scroll down you’ll see why we love it so much!
This very modern and elegant home design is filled with surprises. In the living room, we can see more solid and neutral colors, paired with more classic pieces. A luxurious mirror takes all the attentions on the left side wall. In the bedrooms, however, we can see stronger colors contrasting with white features, just as we can see in the photo below.

In her website, Jessica Gersten’s style is described as “modern eclectic“. The designer has “an eye for one-of-a-kind antiques mixed with contemporary designs” and works “in close collaboration with her clients [seeking] to create spaces that evoke emotion while speaking to their lifestyle needs”. This couldn’t be a more accurate description of the work we’ve just seen by the designer. It’s a post-modern home, which takes the best of both worlds (contemporary and vintage) and brings them together to create a harmonious and elegant place… right in the heart of New York City!
