The Riviera was a project by architect Irwin Shuman, who thought the resort in order to mirror the luxurious hotels of Las Vegas, in the decade of the 1950s. The new Riviera Hotel should reflect the style of contemporary Palm Springs — a playful mix of eclectic and bohemian design, at the same time it’d make us feel nostalgic with its vibrant colors and midcentury furniture.
