Earlier this year, 20 european destinations were competing for the title of Best European Destination 2017. Only one got out victorious, and a stunning northern city in Portugal – Porto – was the most voted destination of them all. When you’re visiting Porto, you have to take some time to visit one of the most exclusive and ancient coffees of the whole city. Majestic Café in the heart of the city, right in the middle of the shopping district, is a no miss opportunity to drink the best expresso coffee and enjoy the best custard tarts, or as we like to call them, ‘Pastel de Nata’.
Finally, if you’re in for a serious meal, and you’re the biggest meat lover you know, then put yourself to the test and try one of Porto’s most known dishes, Francesinha. It’s literally just lots of good-quality meat on bread, a lot of cheese and the best sauce you can think of.
