Recovering and renovating an old house is the latest trend in the architecture and interior design world. Today we are going to show you a 1910 cottage that was redecorated and transformed into a two-storey modern home decor. And the best thing? This home has very modern pool around the house that looks stunning with the lovely architecture and nature of the place. So sit back, relax and be amazed with this project.
The latest architectural extension made by the studio features floor-to-ceiling panels of glass with motorized sliding screens for privacy and sun protection. A veranda on the front of the cottage was also extended out to create a covered parking area for two cars.
The top floor master bedroom cantilevers out over a terrace for additional shade and protection from rain. This creates a nice terrace that opens up space for a barbecue and just overall relax after a good swim in that magnificent pool.
One of the rooms opens up to the pool. We can see that the interior design was kept simple, with only a few more colorful details to make the bright place pop and make it more cheerful.
The ground and top floor are connected by an elliptical staircase, which becomes a focal point in the space.
Throughout the interiors, we can see that the designers decided to use various types of wood, which they’ve paired with white walls ceilings and cabinets.
