As you know, the LA Market is a great experience for buyers and interior designers. In more than five million square feet of permanent and temporary exhibition space, visitors were able to find an always expanding roster of trend-setting debuts, proven brands, unexpected finds, and one-of-a-kinds! With more than 40 associations, it is the perfect fair for design professionals, and design lovers, to get the opportunity to see the latest design pieces and get some of them for their projects or personal home décor!
2018’s edition happened between the 29th of July and the 2nd of August and it made the day of the design lovers! Las Vegas Market had several surprises and announcements, and today we’ll tell you all!
The 10 Best Booth Winners!
Summer Las Vegas Market 2018 announced the top 10 booths of the American Exhibition! More particularly, it announced that 10 furniture, home décor and gift temporary exhibitors.
Art By Amy Labbe; Chandler Candle Co.; Contrast, Inc.; Gaucho Sheep & Leather Products, Inc.; Good Company Wares; HiTeak Furniture; Johanna Howard Home; Looksur; Louis Osier, Co. and Tivoli – were the big winners of the “Best Booth” for the Summer 2018 Las Vegas Market.
“Las Vegas Market is delighted to award the creativity and effort that these temporary exhibitors put into their displays,” said Robert Maricich, chief executive officer of International Market Centers. “Las Vegas Market recognizes these exhibitors for motivating and inspiring Market-goers with exceptional booth design and visual merchandising”
However these were not the only awards! Six exhibitors that were showing their work in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market also won the “Best Booth” prize! We are sure that you are anxious to get to know the big winners:

More Partnerships to Add Education and Networking Opportunities!
A new partnership with the Home Staging and Redesign Association (HSRA), gave the opportunity to increase networking opportunities, by attending several events at the Summer 2018 Las Vegas Market.
During Summer Market, HSRA owner and founder Jana Uselton presented two sessions highlighting residential construction and interiors. “Power Hour: Design Trends for New Homes”, which home builders are creating a new home concept, based on the selected choice of different design accessories, and furniture; and even the “Power Hour: Home Staging & Property Styling Tips & Techniques”, which taught how to build a home and decorate it, in order to sell it!
Antique and Vintage Exhibitors Compromised Discoveries!
More than 120 new and returning exhibitors showcased at Discoveries! A wide space that let these exhibitors shine, once more!
All products in Discoveries were available for order writing, immediate delivery and cash and carry; and Las Vegas Market also provided online shopping! Great news for the online shopaholics!
LA Market Supported Gourmet Industry with Summer Market Demonstration
Las Vegas Market continues to support the gourmet category, by investing in new demonstrations. More than 750 gourmet housewares, boutiques and new and innovated food spaces were permanently at showrooms.
It hosted a gourmet demonstration on three Market days during the Summer 2018 Las Vegas Market, as part of its ongoing commitment to the gourmet industry.
LA Market Hosted Housewares Design Awards for Its Third Year
The 14th edition was hosted by the continued partnership with Housewares Design Awards. These important recognitions will do a tribute to 11 core housewares categories!
