BDW is now considered an official member of the World Design Weeks. From the 27th of March to the 7th of April, Boston will be the city stage of one of the most important design events: Boston Design Week. The 6th edition has several new specials that you cannot miss, however today we’ll tell you everything you should know about it!

The main goal is to present different perspectives of design and how it can be a tool to solve the world’s top issues. Besides that, the event will bring a new audience to a “a wide array of design industries and organisations”.

The Boston Design Week Lifetime Achievement Award is one of the awards and it will recognize the person that has exceed on the design field an that his/her work has spanned both the 20th and 21st centuries.

Other awards will be the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award ,presented to: Roger Thomas, Executive Vice President of Design, Wynn Design and Development, and Principal, The Roger Thomas Collection, which current Project is Encore Boston Harbor. The Mentor of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and The Social Impact Award will also be presented. Don’t miss the change to buy the ticket and know first hand the winners!
