STUDIOPEPE
Studiopepe was fouded in 2006 by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto. The projects have a peculiar manifestation: a uniting poetic vision and rigorous design.
“Studiopepe’s projects are recognizable by their strong iconographic identity, based upon experimenting, continuous research on colours and materials and the contamination between the various contemporary languages with the intent to provide a solution that is uniquely special
and respectful of each client’s individuality”, Studiopepe.
The design duo work with residential and hospitality projects – each of them, characterized by peculiar and dynamic design – product design and creative direction.
CDA 2020 AND THE PROJECT “LES ARCANISTES”
Paris was the stage of the big ceremony of Créateurs Design Awards 2020. Among several design categories, such as Best Design Collaboration, Best Design Collection, Best Project Photography, Best Product Design, Best Residential Design, and Best Hospitality & Commercial, Studiopepe was one of the nominees for the first category!
The three nominees for the Best Design Collaboration award were Studiopepe with the project “Les Arcanistes”; “Marcel Wanders” from Lladró; and CC-Tapis Maarten De Ceulaer. The big winner of this award was … Studiopepe!
LES ARCANISTES
Les Arcanistes was Studiopepe’s Manifesto Project for Milan Design Week 2019 and it’s a project in a large industrial space, “a former gold manufacture dating back to the 1900s“!
If you’re curious about the name of the project, we’ll explain everything! “The Arcanists were ante-litteram chemists, who held the arcane and secret knowledge of formulas able to create porcelain and to work with materials such as glass and metals”, says Studiopepe.
Studiopepe, in collaboration with several design partners, was able to put together this beautiful and meaningful project that showcase bespoke pieces, re-editions of historial pieces, art pieces, and many more.
“Over the centuries, from Renaissance courts to Jungian psychoanalysis, forever suspended between the rational and irrational, divining practices have become increasingly complex rituals. The interpretation of the Arcana is a tool for personal growth, through the study of the archetypes that the cards represent”, Studiopepe.
This special project’s goal is to provide a special experience: Te Experience of Les Arcanistes. A sequence of spaces: “the Source of the Vibrational Water, the Materioteca, the Alchemic Laboratory and the Mantica Society”, Studiopepe.
