Okinawa Island is the largest of the Okinawa Islands and the Ryukyu (Nansei) Islands of Japan in the Kyushu region. It is the smallest and least populated of the five main islands of Japan. The island is approximately 66 miles (106 km) long and an average 7 miles (11 km) wide. So, as you might have already undrstood, this is a great escape! The design company was responsible for a unique contemporary with Japanese style into it residential project.

Japanese style is characterized by minimalistic décor with a touch of contemporary touch. Back in times, Japanese’s houses were small, so that is why we didn’t see different rooms. Architects have launched this design trends: open spaces that guarantee socialization, always taking the best advantage of natural light.
Actually, contemporary design is always evolving, because it is a mix of different aesthetics that are trendy in a specific period of time. Nowadays, this style can be described by mid-century modern décor with influences from the Greek, Roman and French cultures. Clean lines, a neutral color palette and the best curated mid-century furnishing and lighting.
