Maurizio Pellizzoni has design running in his veins. Besides being born in Italy – the top reference of interior design and architecture – his family worked in the field. Maurizio founded his own business in 2007, and applied all his knowledge of Italian interior designinto commercial and residential projects, national and internatiolly. Based in Chelsea Design Quarter, the interior designer believes that the key of success is the close relationship with clients. It’s important to understand their tastes and styles, so he’ll be able to create something that reflects what the person is and envisions.
” He spent more than a decade as part of the creative team at Ralph Lauren Home where he directed the presentation of collections in London, Milan and Brussels. Aesthetic rigour and discipline reigned, and Maurizio developed a meticulous eye for detail and a complete understanding of how to create a luxe interior”
Born in the beautiful Lake Como, the mesmerizing landscapes were a big point of inspiration for the designer with a touch of cosmopolitan of New York and daily life in London -where he’s currently living. At the end, we can say that the projects are the perfect mix of different aesthetics with the best selection of furnishing and lighting.
A 9,000 sq ft family residential project, built in the 15th century! It is known that King James himself used to come to this Grade II lested hunted lodge. The house was remodeled in 1912 by a renowned architect called Sir Edwin Lutyens that added a special feature to the house: a ballroom with signature domes!
The interior designer decided to keep all the artworks and start from there the renovation : “Maurizio took the history of each room and the artworks in it as a starting point and added new furniture, bespoke pieces and antiques, some of which were already there. The result is a warm family home that bears the stamp of its owners’ individual taste and the building’s rich history“
