The special detail is a white, curvaceous form that has been made in carbon-fiber, sitting at the core of the upper communal area. It is a decorative centerpiece and, at the same time, a ‘sleeping pod’, representing the futuristic aesthetic design of the house (that looks great with the mid century modern style that occupies the majority of the house). LED lighting was the choice and follows around the base of the interiors, highlighting the organic form and the leather-clad floor.
Most of the internal spaces have been decorated eclectically, mix-matching furniture, materials, prints as well as the old and new. the lower floor consist of an indoor pool and steam, a bar, walk-in wardrobe and another two bedrooms, all in all, exuding weirdly unique and assorted private retreat.
This is the perfect mid century modern (with some futuristic details) design inspiration for you to get some original ideas and to use on your own projects! This one is located in Sidney, but good designs like this one will be well received in any corner of the globe. Hope you liked it!
