In Zurich, Switzerland, there is a minimalist house designed by Philippe Stuebi that will catch your attention, especially its two-floor library. It shows us that we don’t need much to create a perfect and trendy environment to our houses and, at the same way, make a full usage of all the inside space.
Are you ready to see it for yourself?
The first thing you will notice about this house is its exterior architecture, designed that way to occupy as much space of the lot as possible.
Once we enter the house we see that the rooms inside are not regular as we are used to seeing so some solutions had to be found to make the most use of the space.
The first space saving idea is the two-floor library at an open corner. That is probably one of the most incredible private libraries that you will ever see. The glass wall around the ground floor provides the perfect luminosity to enjoy your readings.
Although all the interior of the house is white, Philippe Stuebi also had one of the walls painted pink, which creates a very interesting effect.
In what concerns the decoration elements inside the house, there are only essential and functional pieces and nothing in excess.
All the corners and edges of this house provide enough space outside to create relaxing areas.
