Berlin is going to glow again. Various monuments, buildings, and places in Berlin will be mesmerizing with the production of the Festival of Lights. The Berlin’s most famous landmarks and historical monuments such as Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral, and the Funkturm through light projections and video art.
Many local and international lighting artists use this unique opportunity to project their temporary works of art onto some of these dazzling buildings in the world.
The Festival of Lights also includes various art and music events that you can’t miss.
There will be also guided tours that go by the name LightSeeing. Visitors can tour the highlights of the festival by bus, boat or, of course, on foot. Photography workshops, open house at selected buildings and charity events are part of the festival too.
The participating monuments will be illuminated daily from 7 pm until midnight. The full list of participating buildings, a map and some photos of this year’s displays is available at the official Festival of Lights website.
