It seems that finally we’re getting our normal life again and our favorite design tradeshows are back in business! iSaloni is definitely one of the design aficionados‘ favorite events, and this yes it had a special twist! A new format and an exceptional curator, architect Stefano Boeri, for “supersalone”, the Special 2021 event under the banner of the Salone del Mobile.
From the 5th to the 10th of September 2021, visitors were able to check the last design trends and also brand new products from their favorite design brands! Today, Inspirations Blog will present you the highlights of the 2021 Italian Fair, so stay up to speed with what’s going on in the world of contemporary living.

More than 400 design brands attended this new edition, as well as 50 independent designers and 170 design projects of international design schools.

In the pavilions, the design brands had to use their creativity to display the products on just one modular wall, instead of the traditional stands. We could see that the furniture pieces were displayed more loosely, with little access to planned structures, such as countertops, kitchens, bathrooms, new technologies… Everything to adapt to the current reality.

This year, like we said, each brand only had a modular wall to expose their new products, however Molteni had a brilliant idea of transforming its modular wall into a plane with their master armchairs!
